They traded contraband goods and sold them through social networks without declaring the sales to the tax authorities, 4 in handcuffs, 3 wanted

Police notification:

Controls have been carried out and continue to be carried out in 13 different subjects in Tirana, Krujë and Durrës, which carried out their activity mainly online, not declaring sales to the tax authorities, as well as introducing suspected contraband goods, in RSh.

Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Tirana, following the work to combat economic and financial crimes, in cooperation with the Directorate of Tax Investigation, in the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana, have finalized the coded police operation "Hidden money".

During the operation:

- citizens F. Xh., 28 years old, resident of Tirana, KK, 27 years old, resident of Tirana, YI, 45 years old, resident of Paskuqan, MV, 32 years old, resident of Durrës, were detained;

- citizens ED, 36 years old, resident in Tirana, and EM, 35 years old, resident in Tirana, were processed in a free state;

Also, efforts are being made to capture citizens LF, 32 years old, resident of Kavajë, FQ, 34 years old, resident of Durrës, and AI, 47 years old, resident of Paskuqan.

 The aforementioned entities traded various goods and carried out their activity mainly online, through the social networks "Facebook", "Instagram" and "Tik-Tok", not declaring sales to the tax authorities, as well as introducing contraband products, in RSh.

From the calculations of the structures of the Tax Investigation, the mail deliveries for each subject were analyzed, dividing them into years and then they were compared with the declarations made by each subject, and comparing the tax declarations with the declarations in the mail, a total difference of 1 500,000 euros. 

As material evidence, various suspected smuggled goods were seized, as well as the mobile phones of the processed citizens. 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
