The adventure of three Albanians, who were walking around with a suitcase filled with 14 kg of cocaine, in the streets of Barcelona, has not ended properly.

The vehicle was stopped by agents of the "Mossos" anti-drug squad in the Sant Martí neighborhood and the three Albanians ended up in handcuffs after the narcotics were discovered.

The Albanians' car raised suspicions about the agents after they saw the passengers making an exchange. That's when they acted, making one of the biggest hits on the streets of Barcelona.

The drugs, which can be worth more than 1 million euros on the black market, were well hidden inside the vehicle. During the check, 4,000 euros in cash were also seized from the car.

The investigation to clarify where the drugs came from, where they were supposed to go and the role of the three arrested Albanians has been undertaken by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Barcelona region and specialists in the war against drugs.
