Massive accident in Durrës-Tirana, 6 cars collide, 2 injured end up in hospital

An accident that involved at least 6 cars colliding with each other happened this morning (September 21), on the Durrës-Tirana highway.

The news was also confirmed by the capital's police, clarifying that the event was recorded around 08:45, on the axis in question, where 6 vehicles collided and were damaged.

"As a result, two citizens were slightly injured and were sent to the hospital for a medical examination", said the police.

The accident is known to have caused traffic on the road and long queues of vehicles, as weekends are always congested on this national axis.

The police announced that the investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident, while additional details from the dynamics and causes are also expected.
