A serious event took place on the island of Crete in Greece, where a child of Albanian origin drowned in the sea.
According to the Greek media, the minor boy aged 6-7 drowned while swimming in the sea in the area of Arvi.
The little boy named Nikolas was with his mother. Their house is located a few meters from the beach.
The minor asked to enter the sea, but the mother did not allow him because of the waves.
Apparently, he escaped his mother's attention and left.
But unfortunately he drowned as a result of the rough sea at that moment.
It was a resident of the area who saw the little boy lying upside down in the sea and immediately raised the alarm.
Other residents of the village also went to the scene.
The doctors, who rushed to the scene, tried to bring him back to life through the defibrillator.
Nikolas was urgently transported to the hospital, but despite efforts even there, the little boy did not make it.
