Another victim of bad weather, fisherman found drowned in Ksamil (NAME)

A serious incident has been recorded in Saranda, where a fisherman was found dead by the police. It is reported that 61-year-old Mihal Zoi was found drowned near the "Three Islands" in Ksamil.

It is suspected that Zoi lost his life as a result of the bad weather that has swept the south of the country over the last 24 hours, while the possibility that the 61-year-old may have ended his life is not ruled out.

The incident is suspected to have occurred yesterday evening during the storm, while the Police have also found the victim's boat, which has sunk. It is also reported that Zoi was divorced and has children in Greece, while he does not appear to have other family members in Albania.

After the loss of life of electrician Bashkim Boçi, it appears that the bad weather that swept southern Albania for several hours has caused another victim.

Police Announcement:

Today, at around 11:00, in front of the Ksamil Islands, the body of citizen MZ, 61 years old, fisherman, was found.

From the preliminary examination conducted at the scene, it is suspected that the citizen lost his life as a result of drowning, as he was suspected of having gone fishing.

Police services have also found the boat in which the 61-year-old is suspected of having gone fishing.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
