The attempt to eliminate him, Trump: I survived the assassination for a reason!
Donald Trump

In his speech in Florida, where Donald Trump gave his victory speech, he also talked about the assassination that happened to him in July, where a bullet hit him in the ear.

He addressed his supporters saying that there is a reason why he managed to escape the attempt to eliminate him.

"God spared my life for a reason. And that reason was to save our country and restore America to its greatness. Now we will accomplish that mission together. The task before us will not be easy, but I will bring every bit of energy, spirit and fight that I have in my soul to the work that you have entrusted to me", he said.

He also mentioned the part about wars, a considerable concern in the world today, while he said that the US will not start wars, but rather will end them.

"I will not start wars, I will stop wars. We have not started any war, except for the one with ISIS," he said.

Trump has declared victory, but has yet to reach the required number of Electoral College votes.
