Novruz Cenalia will be laid to rest in the cemetery of the village of Baltëz in Fier, where he lived.

After the funeral ceremony, relatives of the deceased officer spoke to TV Klan. Saddened, the young man's relatives demand the arrest of the perpetrator of the incident and bring him to justice. They have the best words for Novruz.

" ...a positive boy and he has certainly been dedicated to carrying out the task assigned to him. The honors given to him by the Albanian state are very complete, they are honors that could have been given to a man with perhaps a longer career in the police. But they have also been families that have worked for the police, and have always been in the position of fighting crime ", says a relative.

"I believe that the police will catch (the author), bring him to justice, get what he deserves. And it must perform this task. Even at a very high price", says another.

And as the killing of the 28-year-old is suspected to be the result of a momentary conflict, among the relatives there are also those who do not believe something like this...

"I feel very sad about this event. This was an accident that could happen to anyone, but it was planned. Not quite peaceful, it's not a coincidence in my opinion. I believe it is organized. It's not by chance. A man is not killed for a car fight", says a relative.

"We know the nephew as a very good boy, he fell prey to the gang. I hope they catch that killer as soon as possible. Many young men have been killed, they are mothers' sons. I don't know what to say anymore, because we are very hurt", adds another.

As 2 days have passed since the serious incident, the suspected perpetrator of the murder, 23-year-old Azgan Mërnica, continues to remain on the run. The search has not stopped and it is still believed that he is hiding in the area of ​​Fier.

The main police clue remains that of a momentary conflict. Cenalia and Mërnica had a conflict on Monday afternoon while driving. The cause was crossing one of the narrow streets of the village. After they got out of the cars, Mërnica took out the pistol he had with him, shooting the 28-year-old officer in the head. He was wearing a police uniform as he was on his way to work.

The whole event happened in front of the mother of the suspected author of the event, who was in the car with him. It was the latter that revealed the dynamics to the investigators. Dozens of people were taken and re-interrogated, with the aim of clarifying this murder.

23-year-old Azgan Mërnica comes from a family with a long history of involvement in criminal events. His father served a 20-year prison sentence for killing his brother-in-law.
