The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj , today expressed his condolences to the family members of the murdered policeman, Novruz Cenalia , member of the "Eagle" team of Fier.

The Head of State sent a wreath to the farewell tributes that took place today in the city of Fier.

"In these difficult moments, I express my support for you, your relatives, friends and colleagues on Novruz", writes President Begaj in his condolence message.

Also, the head of state condemns the criminal act, expressing his belief that the relevant institutions will bring to justice the author of this tragic event, who took the life of the young man in uniform.

Full message of condolence:

"Dear family members! I am deeply saddened by the passing of your son, State Police Officer Novruz Cenalia. Nothing eases the pain you are experiencing, but allow me in these difficult moments to express my support for you, your relatives, friends and colleagues of Novruz. I strongly condemn this criminal act and express my conviction that the relevant institutions will bring the author of this tragic event to justice. Please accept my sincere condolences", said Begaj.
