The Japanese architect's studio is declared the winner for the Butrint Park
project

The studio of the world-famous Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma, is announced as the winner of the International Competition for the project of the Visitor Center in Butrint National Park.

The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti called it an important step as she said that there were expressions of interest from 112 studios, but there were only 4 finalists.

"After a long work, among the debates today we have the name of the studio and the project for the visitor center of Butrint. We have taken an important step towards the revitalization and modernization of the Butrint National Park by closing the first phase of the international competition", said Margariti.
