The details of the appearance at SPAK of the head of the Rrogozhin Municipality, Edison Memolla, on the morning of this Thursday have been disclosed.

Sources indicate that he has been questioned about employment in the municipality. It is known that Memolla made fictitious employments of persons who were actually abroad, while they were paid as employees of the Municipality of Rrogozhina.

Edison Memolla was elected at the head of the Municipality of Rrogozhina from the partial local elections of March 6 of last year, while on May 14 he is competing again for a full term at the head of this municipality.

However, we remember that on March 7 of last year, the Democratic Party would report the newly elected head of the Rrogozhin Municipality, Edison Memolla, to SPAK, with the accusation of vote-buying. According to the accusations from the Democratic Party, Memolla was directly involved in vote buying.

Specifically, he was accused of asking the employees of the Electricity Distribution Operator to vote for him in the March 6, 2022 by-election.
