Bankers Petroleum employees , mainly engaged in technical work in the fields, have launched a protest today due to ongoing delays in the payment of salaries.

According to one of the company's oil workers, the situation began in October, while some workers have not received their salaries since June.

"We have a deadline for receiving our salary and it has not yet been given to us, even though we have asked for an answer several times. They just tell us that it has been blocked and the sale is being delayed," says one of the workers, who works as a technician in the field.

According to him, this is not just a problem of one of the branches, but of the entire main group, where workers remain unprotected and without clear information on payments.

The situation, as the worker says, has worsened since the COVID-19 pandemic , when activity was limited and companies had temporarily halted some operations.

The workers warn that they will continue the protests until the situation is resolved, demanding that the company's leaders respect their rights and pay back wages.
