The details of how the 49-year-old Agmi Gjini, who was wanted as part of the "Golden Bullet" operation, fell into the hands of the Durres Police, after he could not be caught in the first operation on May 19. He is suspected of being an accomplice of Talo Çela and Nuredin Duman in several criminal events.
Sources indicate that Agim Gjini was "betrayed" by phone calls with his relatives, with whom he used to communicate.
Although he spoke in code with his relatives and did not tell them his location, the Police was able to find out the place where he was hiding through the phone waves. He was caught by surprise and arrested by the operational team.
GJKKO has assigned Gjini the security measure "Arrest in prison", as a suspect for the criminal offenses "Theft with violence" and "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition", carried out in cooperation, in a special form, "Group structured criminal", as well as "Commitment of criminal offenses by structured criminal group and criminal organization".
Agim Gjini was involved in an armed robbery in 2013 together with Nuredin Dumani and Talo Çela, and this episode was narrated by Dumani himself.
The latter stated before SPAK prosecutors that Dorjan Shkoza had given them information that a person, identified as Astrit Ademi, kept a lot of money in the car.
In his testimony, Dumani says that he, Talo Çela, Agim Gjini and another person broke the car window, took around 20 thousand euros and left. While the cars they stole at that time were left at Agim Gjin's garage.
