A 33-year-old man suspected of planting explosives in the apartment of a police officer, as well as in the apartment of a citizen, is put in handcuffs.

The Investigative Structures of the Local Directorate of the Shkodër Police, within the framework of the investigative work carried out, for the disclosure of criminal events that occurred previously, the identification, capture and arrest of the perpetrators, based on informational intelligence and as a result of a proactive investigation of several weeks, in cooperation closely with the Prosecutor's Office of the Shkodër Judicial District, made it possible to collect evidence for a suspected author of two events with explosives, which occurred in 2020.

Based on the evidence gathered from the investigation, the Court of the Judicial District of Shkodër has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the citizen DN, 33 years old, born and resident in Shkodër, for the criminal offenses of "Destruction of property with explosives" and "Keeping permit of combat explosive weapons", carried out in collaboration.

As part of the police operation coded "The Message", it was possible to capture and arrest the 33-year-old, suspected of having planted the explosive device, which exploded in the residence of the citizen PM, on duty as a police officer at the Police Station. Shkodra, and in the residence of citizen ZB, events that occurred on January 4, 2020, in the city of Shkodra.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Shkodër Judicial District, the investigative structures of the Shkodër DVP are working intensively to identify possible accomplices, as well as to clarify other events of this nature that have happened recently.
