A 24-year-old Albanian has been captured in Serbia after being declared an international wanted man.

According to police, Klejvis Metalla severely raped his cohabitant, who was also pregnant. The incident occurred in January 2025.

The Dibra Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".

Meanwhile, cooperation between police structures continues, with the aim of extraditing the 24-year-old to Albania.

Police announcement:

In January 2025, the 24-year-old severely raped his pregnant cohabitant, was located and arrested in Serbia, with the aim of extradition to Albania.

Following the cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and Interpol Belgrade specialists, the Albanian citizen, KM, 24 years old, was provisionally arrested in Serbia, following the operation "The Wanted".

He was declared an international wanted person, after in March 2025, the Dibra Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".

The 24-year-old is accused of severely raping his pregnant cohabitant in January 2025.

How the macabre event happened:

We recall that the 23-year-old from Bulqiza was raped by her 24-year-old partner, Klejvis Metalla .

The cause of this situation was the girl's pregnancy, unwanted by Klejvis.

The latter did not want the girl to carry the child, attempting to convince the 23-year-old's family to have an illegal abortion in the fifth month at a clinic in Fier.

But the girl ran away, refusing to have an abortion.

On the day of the violence, January 27 at 3:30 p.m., the young girl, along with her 5-year-old brother, lied and got into the car with Klejvis, after the latter had taken her passport.

Outside the city, at a place called " Skënderbeg's stones ," Klejvis stopped the car and got the girl out, kicking her in the stomach and body.

He then took the cell phone and left in the direction of Peshkopia.

A passerby accompanied the 23-year-old to the Bulqiza Police Station, while taking her younger brother home. The girl arrived at the police station with fractures and blood./ VoxNews
