Since yesterday, traffic on the Librazhd-Pogradec axis has been blocked due to the collapse of part of the road and landslides.
Journalist Osman Stafa, through a video published on social networks, states that dredgers have eroded the Shkumbin riverbed to extract gravel, which may have contributed to the destabilization of the terrain and, as a result, to the landslide of the road and damage to the railway track.
The journalist's reaction:
" I'm located next to the Shkumbin River. Here above me is the place where the asphalt has fallen. Look at what companies have done using river gravel to build bridges."
Let the authorities come here to verify the disaster they have caused to the river.
The riverbed has eroded, causing the ground near the railway to collapse.
So, this whole situation has led to the breakdown on this axis.
"The prosecution should investigate whether it was granted according to legal criteria and whether the rules were properly implemented by company A," says journalist Stafa.
Meanwhile, the companies ANK and 2T, run by the Kola and Sako brothers, have benefited from millions of euros from public tenders for this road segment.
Today, this axis faces collapse, cracks, and traffic chaos, isolating the southeast of the country.
