Changes in the State Police again

The Director General of Police, Skënder Hita, has made another change in the leadership structures in the capital, appointing Alban Hoxha to head Police Station No. 6 in Tirana.

Hoxha replaces Edvin Peci in this position, while he previously held the position of Head of the Violent Crimes Sector at the Tirana Local Police Directorate.

He has extensive experience in the structures of the State Police, where he has led important sectors such as anti-drugs and operations, and has served in various duties in the regions of Fier and Shkodra.

We recall that about a week ago, with the signature of Police Chief Skënder Hita, a series of changes were made in the state police. Erion Ahmeti was appointed to the post of Fier police director, a post that Hita held until March 31, when he took over as head of the state police.

Gerald Toska took over the leadership of the Fier police station, while the deputy director of Fier police, Oliger Torba, was appointed to the same position, but in Tirana.

He replaced Besmir Dervish, who was assigned to this position and was transferred to Kukës. The head of Police Station No. 2, Ermal Kërnaçi, was also transferred to the same region, while the new appointment has not yet been announced.

In the Elbasan Police, Andi Banushi has been appointed deputy director, while Krenar Guçe has been appointed chief of police in Përmet. Dritan Muça has been appointed deputy director for Criminal Investigation in Vlora.

Another name is Dritan Malaj, appointed as deputy director for the Investigation of Crime in Berat. Petrit Halo has been appointed deputy director for the investigation of serious crimes in Shkodra, who previously held important duties as head of several police stations in the capital.

Meanwhile, Arben Nasufi has been appointed deputy director of the Order in Lezha, while the Lezha directorate is still without a director. Erdit Reçeku has been appointed head of the Peqin Police Station, however, there have been other changes in this police station.

Lusjan Zeqaj, who has held several important positions before, has been appointed as the new Chief of Tirana's Traffic Police. On Wednesday, Hita appointed Alban Dautaj as the Director of the Operational Force, while Edmond Sulaj was appointed as the Head of the Anti-Terror Force.

In parallel with the changes in the police, there have also been changes in the leadership of the Police Supervision Agency. Klevis Qose has been appointed as the head of this institution, replacing Eduart Merkaj.
