A 17-year-old who stole a gold pendant worth 12,000 euros from a shopping mall in the heart of the capital has been arrested by Tirana police.

The minor stole precious jewelry the day before from one of the jewelers at the shopping center on "Abdi Toptani" Street and ran away.

During the search, police seized the stolen pendants.

A 17-year-old man who stole a gold pendant worth around 12,000 euros from a jewelry store in a shopping mall was identified, caught and put in handcuffs.

The stolen pendants are seized as material evidence.

As a result of rapid investigative and procedural actions, carried out within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Golds", following the notification of a theft at a jewelry store on "Abdi Toptani" Street, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1 immediately organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

As a result of quick actions, it was possible to capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the 17-year-old minor citizen, resident of Tirana.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, yesterday, stole gold pendants from a jewelry store in a shopping center on "Abdi Toptani" street, and then ran away from the scene.

During the search, the stolen pendants were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
