"Respect for firefighters, soldiers....", Rama: The most severe punishment provided by the law for those who intentionally start fires

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the difficult fire situation that our country has been facing for several days.

In a reaction on Facebook, the Prime Minister thanked firefighters, military, emergency forces, police, and volunteers who are risking their lives to put out the flames.

"Thank you, respect, heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters, military forces, police, volunteers and residents who are facing the flames, risking their lives to protect our people, homes and nature."

Meanwhile, for arsonists who intentionally set fires, the Prime Minister warned of the most severe punishment.

"Those who deliberately start fires, destroy property and endanger lives, in this difficult time of global warming and flames that are challenging all Mediterranean countries in particular, must receive the most severe punishment provided by the law."
