Shortly after midnight on Monday, police officer Anxhelo Kumaraku was injured by gunfire.

The police have identified and announced a search for the perpetrator of the injury in Shkoza.

The police officer was off duty, while the conflict was unrelated to his duty.

At the time of the incident, Anxhelo Kumaraku was accompanied by his neighbor, who was under the security measure "house arrest", but who had violated it at the time of the incident.

It is still unknown what the motive and target of the shooting was, while the 30-year-old police officer is out of danger.
