Israeli attack on a mosque in Gaza, it is reported that 21 people were killed!

The Hamas-run civil defense agency says an Israeli strike that hit a mosque serving as a shelter killed at least 21 people, AFP news agency reported this morning.

The mosque was located in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza , and the Israeli military said Hamas militants had been targeted.

The update from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), issued in the early hours of the morning, further refers to an attack on a former school in the same area.

It is further stated that in both cases steps were taken to minimize the chances of civilian casualties.
