The heavy rains that fell during the night in the district of Kruja have caused the flooding of hundreds of hectares of land, planted with alfalfa, corn and wheat.

Likewise, some private homes were flooded with water and the intervention of the fire brigade was needed to remove the water from the homes and garages.

Specifically, there are floods in all the villages of Ultësira i Kruja. This is a consequence of the non-cleaning of the drains by the drainage board of the municipality.

The most problematic situation occurs in the village of Bilaj, where the flooded areas are very large.

A farmer in the area considers himself bankrupt as the entire grain production of over 60 tons as well as agricultural machinery and tools are in the water.

According to the farmer Xhovalin Doda, but also according to the residents of this village, the reason is the works on the Thumanë-Kashar road that are being carried out by the Gener 2 company, which, according to them, has not taken the water into account, but has placed narrower pipes, thus blocking and narrowing water flow.

'This farm has been flooded, 600 quintals of wheat are under water. The main factor is the Gener 2 works. Drainage channels have not been opened and drainage quotas have not been taken into account. Here's the curb channel here. It wails when the river comes out or when some other phenomenon occurs. All the production is in the water, we are completely bankrupt and finished.'- he says.

Problems have also been presented in Krujë, where the asphalt of the Krujë-Fushë-Krujë national road has been damaged in several places.
