The mayor of Erseka, as well as comedian Erion Isai, has officially ended his marriage to his wife.

Although words had long circulated that Isai was living alone between Tirana and Erseka, along with other rumors, this had never been admitted by him.

But it now appears that the separation was formalized by the Tirana Court in April of this year, while the divorce petition was filed a year ago.

Isai and Ajlin Petrela were married in 2011 and have two children together.

The court's decision, among other things, states that there is no longer affection, they live separately, and that their marriage has lost its meaning.
