Six citizens were arrested yesterday evening in the coastal city of Vlora, after a surprise operation conducted by the RENEA Special Forces. The Local Directorate of the Vlora Police was also in coordination.

The police informs that the immediate intervention of services based on police intelligence, prevented a possible criminal event against the person, which would be carried out with several firearms.

Santilo Basho, the brother of Tesilvan Basho, also known as Tesi of Selenica, has been arrested. This citizen and Mariglen Aliaj, also arrested, had with them firearms, pistols with bullets in the holster ready for firing, while the other 4 people were aware of this criminal activity.

The arrested have a previous criminal record in the field of serious crimes against the person, and are members of a dangerous criminal group. 2 firearms, pistols, military ammunition, 3 vehicles, 2600 euros and 8 mobile phones were seized from them.

" The services of the Local Directorate of the Vlora Police have provided information about 2 citizens who were armed, in a bar in Vlora, who could commit serious criminal events against the person. On the basis of this information, in cooperation with the "RENEA" Special Forces, the coded "Obelisk" police operation was organized and finalized , as a result of which the following citizens were arrested:

Santilno Basho , 37 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

Mariglen Aliaj , 33 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

Bruno Shehu , 29 years old, a resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime";

Mehmet Hoxhaj, 27 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”;

Beraldo Xhindi, 29 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”;

Kevin Metaj, 28 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”.

Këta shtetas, pjesëtarë të një grupi kriminal të rrezikshëm dhe me precedentë të mëparshëm kriminal, në fushën e krimeve të rënda kundër personit, u kapën në flagrancë, në ambientet e një lokali, në lagjen “Lef Sallata”. Gjatë kontrolleve fizike dhe në këtë lokal, shërbimet e Policisë iu gjetën shtetasve S. B. dhe M. A., dy armë zjarri pistoleta (“Glock” dhe “TT”), me fishekë në fole, të gatshme për qitje. Armët u sekuestruan me cilësinë e provës materiale, së bashku me 3 automjete që posedonin shtetasit e arrestuar, 2600 euro dhe 8 celularë”, njoftoin Policia e Shtetit.

Materialet procedurale i kaluan Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Vlorë, për veprime të mëtejshme.

Njoftimi i plotë

Finalizohet operacioni policor i koduar “Obelisk”, i zhvilluar nga Drejtoria Vendore e Policisë Vlorë, në bashkëpunim me Forcat Speciale “RENEA” dhe Komisariatin e Policisë Vlorë.

Operacioni, në vijim të operacioneve të njëpasnjëshme për parandalimin e ngjarjeve kriminale dhe për goditjen e grupeve kriminale.

Ndërhyrja e menjëhershme e shërbimeve, në bazë të inteligjencës policore, parandalon një ngjarje të mundshme kriminale kundër personit, e cila do të kryhej me disa armë zjarri.

Të armatosur në një lokal, me 2 pistoleta të gatshme për qitje, kapen në flagrancë dhe vihen në pranga 2 shtetas, pjesëtarë të një grupi kriminal të rrezikshëm.

Në pranga dhe 4 shtetas të tjerë, për moskallëzim të krimit, 3 prej të cilëve pjesë e grupit kriminal me 2 shtetasit e armatosur.

Të arrestuarit, me precedent të mëparshëm kriminal në fushën e krimeve të rënda kundër personit.

Sekuestrohen 2 armë zjarri pistoleta, municion luftarak, 3 automjete, 2600 euro dhe 8 celularë.

Në vijim të operacioneve të zhvilluara nga Policia e Vlorës, me qëllim parandalimin e ngjarjeve kriminale, vënien në pranga të shtetasve të rrezikshëm për komunitetin, pjesëtarë të grupeve kriminale, shërbimet e Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Vlorë kanë siguruar informacion për 2 shtetas që qendronin të armatosur, në një lokal në Vlorë, të cilët mund të kryenin ngjarje të rëndë kriminale, kundër personit. Në bazë të këtyre informacioneve, në bashkëpunim me Forcat Speciale “RENEA”, u organizua dhe u finalizua operacioni policor i koduar “Obelisk”, si rezultat i të cilit u vunë në pranga shtetasit:

-S. B., 37 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”;
-M. A., 33 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”;
-B. Sh., 29 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”;
-M. H., 27 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”;
-B. Xh., 29 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”;
-K. M., 28 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, për veprën penale “Moskallëzimi i krimit”.
These citizens, members of a dangerous criminal group and with previous criminal precedents, in the field of serious crimes against the person, were caught in the act, in the premises of a bar, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood. During the physical checks and in this bar, the Police services found two firearms, pistols ("Glock" and "TT"), with cartridges in the slots, ready to fire, belonging to the citizens of SB and MA. Weapons were seized as material evidence, together with 3 vehicles owned by the arrested citizens, 2600 euros and 8 mobile phones.

Meanwhile, the other 4 arrested citizens are suspected to have known about the 2 armed citizens and did not report the crime.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora, for further actions.
