"O massacre, he was 25 years old", the trial against "Prince Damian", the mother of Santiago Malko explodes: You killed my son, you dog!

The Special Court today started the hearing for the defendant  Leonard Duka , accused as the head of the group called " Duka Clan " and accused of being the organizer of the murder of ex-policeman Santiago Malko , in August 2019.

Leonard Duka appeared for the first time in the hearing since his arrest and extradition from Belgium, where he was arrested after being declared wanted.

He was extradited on August 2 of this year from Belgium to Albania.

The other members of the group have been tried and investigated in absentia, while he is expected to face the charges raised by SPAK, in this file.

But today's session did not pass without incident, as the mother of the deceased Santiago Malko, present in the courtroom, burst into screams and insults at the defendant:

" O mascara, you killed my 25-year-old son, you dog! How do you get out there...?! ", were her accusations directed at the Duke.

Leonard Duka was also known as a sworn opponent of Ervis Martinaj.

They were quite good partners and friends, which fell apart when a large amount of money of 800 thousand euros was put into play.

It was the gambling business that Duka and Martinaj founded together, but very soon clashes started over this activity, clashes that escalated and eliminated the closest people to each other.

The Dukes killed Santiago Malko, Martinaj's confidant, for which Blendi Teta is behind bars.

While Ervis Martinaj, one of the biggest gambling bosses in Albania, has been missing since August 9, 2022.
