He was not stabbed, police explain the injury of the 69-year-old man in Himara

Today it was reported that a 69-year-old man was stabbed in the chest, an incident that occurred in Himara.

But police say that 69-year-old Përparim Popa self-injured while doing work in his apartment. He was injured with a cutting tool in the chest. Fortunately, he is in hospital out of danger.

Police Announcement:

Today, citizen PP, 69 years old, resident of Himara, presented himself for medical assistance at the hospital, stating that while working to repair some boards near his residence, in the village of Ilias, he was accidentally injured with a cutting tool in the chest area. The 69-year-old is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.

The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
