Two days after the tragic event in the village of Novosel , where a 42-year-old man lost his life during a soccer match, today the final farewell was given to Besfort Ruanaj .

The owner of the sports field, Arben Hyso , says that the victim had been to that soccer field for the first time and was playing as a goalkeeper with a group of friends who did not frequent the field often.

According to Hysos, the match had started at around 23:00 and after about 40 minutes of play, Ruanaj was hit by the ball in the chest area, a blow that did not seem strong, but after which he immediately fell.

Friends attempted to provide first aid, while the ambulance arrived at the scene after the 42-year-old had passed away.

Besfort Ruanaj lived and worked for years as an immigrant in Germany.

" It was the first time he came to this soccer club. He was with a group of boys who had not been to soccer clubs for a while. During the match where the 42-year-old played goalkeeper, the game had started about 40 minutes ago, where the game started around 11 pm, about 40 minutes had passed when the 42-year-old was hit in the chest with a ball, but according to the soccer club administrator, the blow was not strong. He fell to the ground where he was given first aid by his friends, but it was impossible. When the ambulance arrived, the 42-year-old Besford Runaj passed away ," declared Arben Hyso.
