Greek media have paid considerable attention to a horror story regarding the attempted rape of a disabled girl by a 64-year-old Albanian man in Kypseli.

Even, according to "Protothema", his daughter has complained that her father raped her since she was 7 years old.

Speaking to MEGA, the girl revealed that the 64-year-old Albanian raped her in their home.

" When I was 7 years old, my father raped me once in Albania, when everyone was away from home. I never reported him, I was afraid. Now, I have nothing to do with this man, we had a very bad fight ," she initially states and continues by saying: " I told him a long time ago during the fight that he had sexually abused me and that he tried to make me crazy because I don't know what to say and that I was making this story up out of my mind ."

According to the same interview, the girl kept the nightmare she says she experienced at her father's hands as a carefully guarded secret for years.

Characteristically, as she says, when she decided to denounce him, almost everyone in her family and close circle turned their backs on her.

“I wanted to report him, but because, as I was told, it had been years and it wouldn’t lead anywhere and that I couldn’t try it now. My mother knew what he was doing and didn’t do anything about it. I don’t want any contact with any of them. What hurt me the most was when I mentioned it to my brothers and sisters… And they took their side and I’ve cut off contact with them ever since.”

The 64-year-old, who was reported for attempted rape of a 25-year-old Greek woman with disabilities inside her family home in Kypseli, remains at large.

Police authorities continue investigations to find and arrest him.

The 25-year-old mother has described the dramatic moments she experienced when, upon returning home, she saw her husband standing over her daughter.

She said she grabbed a large frying pan and hit him in the head, trying to push him away and protect her child.

The forensic examination, according to her, showed that there was no abuse. On Sunday morning, the 64-year-old entered the house where two disabled twins live, while their mother was away.

According to what the latter stated, he allegedly sexually harassed one of her two daughters, while attacking and punching the other.

As the mother of two girls reported, she had gone to the pharmacy for 10 minutes and when she returned home, she found the perpetrator sexually harassing one of her daughters.

 After that, she hit him with a frying pan, while he retaliated by punching her, just like he did with the other girl.

Then, the girls' mother took a knife and started chasing him, while the Albanian fled.

The case has caused great concern among residents of the area, while the Police are calling on anyone with information to contact the competent services immediately.
