Former Security officer Bujar Hoxha , who a few days ago confessed to the program Inside Story some of the suspected crimes of the Greek services, passed away yesterday .

Prapaskena learns that Hoxha passed away after a heart attack.

It is not known beforehand whether or not unfriendly services have a hand in the death of Mr. Hoxha, but his denunciation in the Top Channel show was very strong and for a specific crime, the macabre murder of an Albanian agent by the Greek services.

The Albanian services were also faced with aggressive approaches from the southern neighbors, Greece, a state which over the centuries has not hidden its expansionist goals in the Albanian territories.

" Greece belonged to a different regime and they absolutely had not given up their goals for southern Albania, for Vorio Epirin, many documents show the feverishness of the Greek and Yugoslav discovery which sought and put themselves at the service of other forces as they were at that time as the CIA or the English secret service ", said Xhavit Shala, security expert.

Unfortunately, during the first decades, Albanian intelligence had almost no data on the intense activity of Greek espionage. The Counterintelligence structures in Vlora had not had any results in providing information about Greek espionage.

" In general, we have had the greatest aggressiveness with the Yugoslavs, but the Greeks had a service that was more different than the Yugoslavian because they demand a lot of quality. If Yugoslavia didn't ask about quality, but who came out and recruited the Greeks, they are a bit more greedy ,' said Bujar Hoxha, former officer of the State Secret Service.

A platoon of unexploited spy files for operational follow-up lay on the desk. After analyzing all of them one by one, it would be realized that they were not worthy of counterintelligence material. But, this situation would change quickly and a hunt for the Greek spy would begin.

On September 8, 1985, one of the counter-intelligence agents of the Albanian Service, known by the nickname "Arbri", was executed. His body was found by a shepherd among the brambles, inside a sack, in an almost decomposed state. The agent had been executed in a gruesome manner. According to the experts of that time, this was a typical murder of the Greek services, which eliminated one of the most distinguished Albanian agents.

" They had cut off his head with a scythe and put it in a bag and thrown it in a hon so that it would not be discovered. It was discovered after a week when the body began to decompose. I would say that the Greek discovery showed its ferocity towards the agents working for State Security" , said Bujar Hoxha, former officer of the State Secret Service.

The executed agent had laid out a sketch of the Greek agency in Albania. Sketch that would be taken further by the other agent named "Zeus". The State Security of Vlora had started the "Bregu" process for the discovery of Greek agents.

" We managed to get into the game with a Greek discovery. Not only did we discover the residency that extended to dozens of people, but we singled out the famous intellectual group as the most dangerous" , said Bujar Hoxha, former officer of the State Secret Service.
