Vlora opens the tourist season with a festive evening

On a giant stage built on the Lungomare promenade, near "Cold Water", Vlora officially opened the tourist season this evening.

The season opened with a festive concert, which features all the elements from Miss Summer World, dance performances by beauties from around the world, as well as songs by the most famous names in Albanian music such as Soni Malaj, Ylli Limani, Kida and Ledri Vula.

The concert will be split into two days, taking place this Saturday evening and tomorrow. The concert was scheduled to take place on Friday but was postponed due to deteriorating weather conditions.

For the first time, Miss Summer World is also organized in Vlora.


A fashion competition where 40 beauties from different countries of the world paraded.

The winner was announced as the beauty queen from Turkey.

The public award went to Miss Albania.
