Greek media: Albanian takes Korydallos prison guards hostage, attempts to kill
The Greek prison of Korydallos

An Albanian prisoner is reported to have taken the guards of the infamous Greek prison of Koridhallos hostage for several moments.

According to Greek television ALPHA, the Albanian managed to hold off two guards, take their keys, radios and phones, and began moving from one side to the other to reach Ward C, where he was looking for his compatriot with the intention of killing him.

As reported by authorities, this is most likely a contract killing order within the prison that was not executed due to the intervention of prison authorities.

The names of the people involved in this incident are not being released.
