Vlora hosts Giro d'Italia, extraordinary organization and a success of the border police

The coastal city of Vlora was transformed yesterday into an international sports scene with the organization of a stage of the Giro d'Italia, one of the most popular cycling races in the world.

This special event not only brought a festive atmosphere and extraordinary interest from citizens and tourists, but also served as a worthy promotion for Albania in the international arena.

In addition to the sporting aspect, special attention was also paid to the excellent logistical organization and ensuring order, especially at the Vlora border crossing, where the return of all teams to Italy after the end of the stage was carried out with extraordinary efficiency.

In this context, the Vlora Border Police deserves maximum appreciation, which demonstrated professionalism and dedication in managing the situation.

Under the direction of the Border Director, Mr. Blendi Jaho, and in close cooperation with the Chief of Station Agon Biti, and the shift chief Ms. Republika Kasmahu, as well as the entire staff of border police officers, the work was carried out at a high pace and in record time, without creating any delays for the athletes or accompanying staff.

This undisputed success of the security structures is a clear example of the capacities that Albania has to host and manage events of international proportions.

On a historic day for Albanian sports and the country's image in the world, the Vlora Border Police proved that it is ready to face great challenges with dignity and dedication.
