The agreement with Italy on immigrants, Rama responds to Britain: Many countries have asked us, but we have said "No"

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, stated that many other countries have asked Albania to sign agreements like Italy's for immigrants, but the response, he said, has been negative.

"I have been very clear, from the first day when we started this process with Italy, that it was a single agreement with Italy because of the special relationship. Thanks to the geographical situation which is quite meaningful. To be very honest, many countries have asked us if we are open to such a thing, we have said no, because we are loyal to Italy, while we have said no to others.
