The Special Court left Florenc Çapjan, the most wanted man in the justice system, in prison, who was extradited from Dubai to Tirana on May 2nd on behalf of the Albanian authorities.
Çapja was sentenced to " prison arrest " for the criminal offense of " providing conditions and means to commit murder ", committed in collaboration to the detriment of Sokol Sanxhatari.
"Tell me why you left the file without any investigative action and convicted me only with Ervis Bardhi's testimony," Florenc Çapja addressed the SPAK prosecutor who is investigating his file.
He denied having the encrypted Sky Ecc app, saying: " Where do you have Sky? I've never been behind it ."
In front of the black squads, Çapja, who had been on the run for 7 years, denied having any connection to the attempted murder of Sokol Sanxhatari, asking the prosecution to find evidence to prove the charges against him.
In addition to his exposure in the "Golden Bullet" file, Florenc Çapja has been sentenced to life imprisonment by final decision for the murder of Gentjan and Nezir Beqiri, an event recorded in 2012 in Elbasan.
He is also accused of the murder of officer Fadil Mema in 2006.
The Elbasan court dismissed the case against him with the argument that it did not find sufficient evidence to implicate Çapja in this event, a decision that was also upheld by the Durrës court.
The decision was appealed by the prosecution to the High Court, while by a decision of the third instance of the judiciary, this case was returned for retrial in Elbasan.
