On the eve of Easter, Catholic believers celebrate the journey of Christ, the "Way of the Cross".
The faithful gathered at Mother Teresa Square to make the walk and the resistance. There were 14 stops that they made, starting from the moment of the fatal death sentence, walking with the cross on their backs, etc.
The faithful were also holding candles in their hands, following all the rites. Monsignor Arjan Dodaj led this rite, giving a message to everyone.
"Let us pray for that reality of youth addicted to drugs, criminality, loss of direction, a motif of a society influenced by materialism, individualism, narcissistic idolatry of self and thus has lost the ability to enjoy life even in things that are a test. To enjoy life because life is always worth living even when things are not going well, even when we are sick, even when we are not, according to the perspective of this world's facade that is satisfied with a few likes, but does not know how to truly comfort the heart, the mind, the life of a person ", said His Grace Arjan Dodaj, Archbishop of the Diocese of Tirana-Durrës.
The "Way of the Cross" is an important day for all Christian believers and is always celebrated 2 days before the feast of Easter, which also marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
