Farmers should not wait for subsidies from the Government, but rather organize themselves into joint ventures and apply for loans.
This was the message that Prime Minister Edi Rama conveyed during a meeting with farmers and entrepreneurs in the Municipality of Cerrik.
" The Bank of Albania's credit line is 250 million euros. It is a soft loan and, moreover, with a sovereign guarantee from the Government. The municipality should be the first interested force to sit down with these people and make a project to build a joint company and invest funds and receive a loan guaranteed by the state. With subsidies we do not go far, we simply survive. If we create a government and a company where municipalities are part and the government becomes part through a sovereign guarantee with the loan, the financing is much greater than 10 years of financing with subsidies ," Rama declared.
