The former leader of the Vlora gang in '97, Myrteza (Zani) Caushi, for the umpteenth time, submitted to the Court the request for the calculation of the days served in prison, requesting a reduction of the days of imprisonment.

He opposes several decisions of the Court of Mati, which rejected his request for a reduced sentence.

Zani Caushi is sentenced to life imprisonment, but he wants a calculation of the days he has suffered in prison as he has been in the high security prison in Drenova for years.

According to the law, after spending a long time in prison cells, a convict, even with life imprisonment, can ask for parole.
