Four Albanians were involved in a serious accident in Italy, where unfortunately two of them lost their lives.

The victims have been identified as BH and DE citizens, 74 and 48 years old, mother and son. The event took place on Friday in Ventimiglia, in the area known as the Roverino overpass.

3 cars were involved in the accident, while a total of 4 people were injured. The Albanians were traveling with an "Opel Astra" type car. The 48-year-old was a passenger and was sitting in the front seat, and his mother was behind him.

In the car at the time of the incident there was a 28-year-old man who was giving the car and his sister, also both Albanians. It is not clear from the media whether all these people had family ties with each other.

Italian media reports that the sister was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the 28-year-old driver suffered minor injuries. A 46-year-old Moroccan who was giving him a Mercedes and a 19-year-old who was traveling on a scooter were also injured.

The first suspicions are that the high speed of the "Opel" was the cause of the accident. For this reason, investigations have been started for street murder against the 28-year-old. It is suspected that he lost control, collided with the protective barrier, then with the "Mercedes" and finally touched the scooter.
