Explosives found at 'Veliera' in Durrës, near Vangjush

A small amount of explosives was found yesterday evening in the city of Durrës.

Passersby informed the local police after seeing the suspicious object in the busy area of ​​"Veliera", right on its steps, about 50 meters away from the apartment of the former mayor of Vangjush Dako, left on the street by unidentified persons and unclear circumstances.

The quantity of explosives was detonated in a controlled manner by specialized engineering forces. 

The area was cordoned off by police forces at the scene, creating a security perimeter for citizens. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
