This is Nikoll Lekndreaj , the police officer who lost his life during the storm that engulfed Shkodra last evening.

The 51-year-old, an officer of the Rapid Intervention Force, was returning home by motorbike, when due to heavy rains and lack of lighting, he lost control and ended up in the canal.

Residents of the area have told the media that the canal in the village of Bardhaj, which flows into the Kir river, had swollen a lot last evening and had reached the level of the road.
