The lawyer of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Sokol Mêngjesi , who was raped by 3 people on March 29 of this year, has sent a letter to the prosecutor's office asking for the charges against Dritan Nano to be dismissed.

The latter is in prison on charges of being the person who organized the son-in-law and his friends to attack the lawyer.

In the filed letter, it shows that there are no conflicts with Dritan Nano and that their problems have been resolved.

But despite this, the court refused to release him, allowing him to remain in prison.

According to the case file, it is suspected that there was a court process where the people who attacked the lawyer did not agree with the latter on the percentages in a court process.

According to the documents, Sokol Mêngjesi had won the process and his rapists were clients, but the latter did not respond to the contract.

Drivald Alia, Elidon Kusaj and Romario Tabaku are still wanted for this incident, for which the police have offered an amount of 20 thousand euros for anyone with information.

They are charged with willful aggravated assault and defying and assaulting the judge.

After the rape, Sokol Mêngjesi remained in serious condition for several days in Tirana and then went to Greece for treatment.
