The father of the 8-year-old boy, who was injured in the accident that claimed the lives of two of his friends at Durres Hospital on Sunday, has provided new details about the serious event that has shocked our country.

He stated that during the transportation to Tirana, his son was looking for his two friends, while also asking about his cousin.

He also stated that the fourth child survived because he was on the side of the bicycle.

"I took the boy and left for Tirana because the Durrës hospital sent me to Tirana. The boy was communicating, but he was looking for his friends... while the fourth child was not hit by the car, he survived, he was on the side of the bike... they took the boy out of intensive care and put him in a room by himself... He is very serious. He only asked about his cousin, was he killed like me...", he said.

Further, the minor's father said that his son has a fractured pelvis and an injury to his lung.

He also said that the 8-year-old doesn't remember many details, while he does remember that the car was speeding.

"I showed him a photo of the person they had arrested, he remembered it. That's all he remembered. He suffered damage to his pelvis, which is broken, and to his leg. They also put a spear in him, he also had damage to his lungs... He didn't remember anything, he just said the car was going very fast...", he said.
