Police have arrested a 21-year-old man identified as Orteo Gurra, who, for weak motives, set fire to a warehouse with household appliances in Librazhd.

The fire caused significant material damage.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire".

Police announcement:

A 21-year-old man who set fire to a warehouse with household appliances for weak motives is identified, captured and put in handcuffs.

As a result of the investigative actions carried out by the Librazhd Police Commissariat, for the burning of a warehouse in the village of Kovanik, Rrajc administrative unit, on 10.05.2025, the suspected perpetrator of the arson, citizen: OG, 21 years old, resident of the village of Rrajcë, was identified, arrested and put in handcuffs.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that citizen OG, for weak motives, set fire to the warehouse with household appliances, owned by citizen MH. The fire caused considerable material damage.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire."
