Tirana Police have issued an official statement regarding the serious incident in the Dry Lake area where a 38-year-old woman committed suicide by gunfire.
The young woman ended her life at around 04:15 inside the "Volvo" vehicle.
Erelina Xh. was sitting in the passenger seat when she was found dead.
Police have seized security cameras to uncover the circumstances of this tragic event.
Police announcement:
At around 04:15 on "Peti" Street, citizen E. Xh., around 38 years old, is suspected of committing suicide with a firearm, inside the vehicle.
Work is underway to clarify the circumstances of the case.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
