Anti-drug operation with two arrests in Korça, cocaine seized

Korça Police have conducted a large-scale anti-drug operation that has led to the arrest of several people suspected of distributing narcotics.

The action began in the early hours of the morning and extended to several areas of the city, where illegal drug distribution activity was suspected to be taking place.

It is reported that two people have been arrested, while several others have been escorted for questioning. The operation is still ongoing and further developments are expected in the coming hours.

During searches conducted in the vehicles and homes of the detained persons, the police seized a quantity of narcotics, including cocaine divided into doses ready for sale.

Authorities have not yet made public the identities of those arrested, while investigations are ongoing to uncover the full drug distribution network in the area.
