It is reported that 7 prisoners of the harsh prison regime "41-bis", in the high security prison in Peqin, have gone on a partial hunger strike.

Sources from this institution say that the prisoners have been refusing food for 2-3 days, but not coffee and water, where they accompany the latter with sugar.

The prisoners have refused food as they are against the application of the " 41-bis " regime, which provides for strict isolation for them.

They have also expressed objections to the frequent checks that were carried out by order of the institution itself.

It is learned that the following have gone on a partial hunger strike:

Aldo Hoxha

Anterio Koaloshi

Fatmir Pietro

Erion Veziaj

Nikolin Topalli

The convicts demand:

To allow the introduction of food by family members.

They are allowed to buy food.

Have open lighting from the window, not with a carrier.

To allow all the TV channels, since by the decision of the AMA only 5 TV channels are allowed, mainly educational programs.

Prisoners have the right to address their claims to the court.
