The protester, who threw Molotov cocktails at the Tirana Municipality, during the rally two days ago, was stopped by the police.

EV, 38 years old, resident of Kurbin, is charged with the criminal offenses of "Disturbance of public peace", "Breach of rules on explosives and incendiary substances", "Destruction of property by fire", and "Assaults due to duty".

"The Tirana Local Police Directorate, in relation to the violent acts carried out during the protest held on 14.05.2024, in front of the Tirana Municipality, by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, following investigative and procedural actions and under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of the First Degree of General Jurisdiction Tirana, stopped the citizen:

- EV, 38 years old, resident of Kurbin, for the criminal offenses "Disturbance of public peace", "Breach of rules on explosives and incendiary substances", "Destruction of property by fire", and "Assaults due to duty".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action", according to the police announcement.
