About 4 months after the murder of businessman Bujar Nasufi on "Myrteza Zeneli" street in the capital, Tirana Police have the perpetrator's DNA profile in their hands.

This extremely valuable evidence for investigators was obtained in a half-burnt glove suspected of belonging to the murderer, seized in the Sharra Hills, exactly where the motorcycle used in the crime was found burned.

The obtained profile has been sent for comparison to Interpol, in order to understand whether it matches the DNA of any person previously registered by the Albanian authorities, but not only.

Bujar Nasufi was executed on the evening of January 12 in Tirana. He was shot with automatic rifle fire as soon as he arrived at the parking lot a few meters from his apartment.

The 56-year-old was a businessman in the furniture industry. He did not have a criminal record, but despite this, the police are working on several leads to solve the incident.

Sources close to the investigation team indicate that the incident is suspected to have been the result of a conflict the victim had in the past.

Specifically, it concerns conflicts related to ownership motives.
