The Mayor of Kuçovo, Kreshnik Hajdari, was convicted by Greek justice for the charge of " Illegal Border Crossing ". The decision for the punishment of the mayor Kreshnik Hajdari was given in 1999 by the sole judge of the criminal court of Ioannina, Nicolaos Raptis. The judge found Hajdar guilty and sentenced him to Dh1,500.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, 120 residents of the village of Lumas in Berat have filed a criminal report with the Berat Prosecutor's Office and the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office, for the initiation of investigations against Kreshnik Hajdar for the charge of "Forgery of the decriminalization form".

According to this court decision, Hajdari was arrested in Greece on the charge of "Illegal Border Crossing", entering the Greek territory without respecting the legal conditions.

The decision states that the criminal actions of Kreshnik Hajdari and other persons who were judged together with him in this decision were committed in the village of Dhespotiko in the prefecture of Ioannina on June 23, 1999.
