A conflict between two families in Garunjas of Lushnje is suspected to be the reason behind the injury of 60-year-old Bajame Senej this Thursday afternoon. For this reason, the police have announced the search for Armando Hasalla as a suspected perpetrator.

But his brother, Laertes, denies that his family was involved in this event. In a telephone conversation from Italy with journalist Anila Sefa, he claims that his brother, Armando, who previously had the name Emiljan, is in Greece and went there 19 days ago.

He further told the journalist Sefa that the other Hasalla family fabricated the event. Bayame Senej is the sister of Kastriot Hasalla. The latter was sentenced to 35 years in prison today for the murder of Laerti and Armando's brother, Romeo Hasalla. The decision for the event that happened in 2021 was given today by the Court of Lushnje.

Laerti says that only his father, Shaipi, was present at today's court session. Laerti further says that there were no other conflicts with the other Hasalla family. As for the murder of his brother, he said that he "left this matter in the hands of the state".

We recall that earlier, Afrim Hasalla, Kastriot's brother, claimed that the shots fired at his sister came from Shaip Hasalla's family members. Afrimi said that Kastrioti protected his brother and son in the conflict that occurred in 2021.

The cause of the conflict between the two families is a 2-hectare plot of land planted with olive trees.

I am with my whole family and my daughter-in-law with my two children in Italy. The brother is in Greece since March 11, 12, he fled to Greece. They took him out in search, I don't know what they invented there.

Anila Sefa: Në gjyqin e Kastriot Hasallës, kush ka qenë nga familjarët tuaj sot?

Laert Hasalla: Ka qenë vetëm babai se unë jam në Itali sot. Babai më ka folur në orën 16:30 dhe babai sa zbriti nga makinat. E pashë nga kamerat e telefonit, kur zbriti babai nga makina dhe e mora në telefon me anë të nuses të vëllait se nuk ka njeri atje.

Anila Sefa: Si e more vesh ngjarjen për sot?

Laert Hasalla: Më ka marrë daja në telefon, nuk e dija fare, jam tek vjehrri në Itali. Në Bari, Sannicandro di Bari quhet fshati.

Anila Sefa: Keni pasur konflikte të tjera që pas vrasjes së Romeos?

Laert Hasalla : I haven't had any conflicts at all. I have left this work to the state. I didn't expect to have to deal with this job at all. They've been out of jail for a year and I haven't had a single scratch with them or anything. So I have nothing to do with them anymore.
