A partial fire has broken out at the retail fruit and vegetable market in the city of Lushnja. The fire broke out at around 3:30 a.m. in the back part of the market.

Residents of the area notified the firefighters and police, who were able to isolate the fire, preventing the market from burning completely, as the building's roof is made of plastic.

There are about 25 street vendors who have nothing left of the products they had in their stalls, which are stationed inside the market, as the market is guarded by physical guards and monitored by security cameras.

The investigation team is working to determine the causes of the fire, which is suspected to be intentional.

The surveillance camera is only 3 meters above the burned area and did not film anything because traders use umbrellas inside the market or other covers to protect their merchandise on rainy and sunny days.

The market structure is very tall and the protective tents were hidden under the cover, preventing the perpetrator or perpetrators of the arson from being identified.

Small traders have suffered great damage to their economies.
